Bumpdate- 29 weeks & 200th post

Image

29 weeks: Your baby is as big as a butternut squash, weight wise -- about 2 1/2 pounds. (Length: a tad over 15 inches, head to heel.)

Maternity Clothes Maternity clothes and maxi dresses are my favorite right now, It has started to get hot this week, so I am hoping I can find some cooler tops to wear! I am also looking for some recommendations on nursing pajamas? Any recommendations?

Stretch Marks
I just noticed this week, that I have a few lines where my I did my insulin shots in my stomach.... So I am now using Bio Oil in the mornings and Palmer's at night!

Movement
She is a dancing machine! I think this week, she has finally moved up a bit so she is growing and moving :)

Food cravings
Still enjoying fruit, but struggling a bit to find things I want to eat..

Nausea, vomiting, or sickness
None. I'm SO grateful that i have not had any sickness and was not sick during the first trimester either!

What I miss:
Nothing still, I am seeing lots of fall recipes and tailgating food and beer! So I will be looking forward to having a beverage come November!

Gender:
We are having a GIRL! :)

Best moment this week:
Getting all the painting finally done in the nursery, also getting things put together for the baby! I can't believe at the most we have 9 weeks or less until we get to meet her!

We had our first Baby shower on Sunday August 25th so I will be blogging more about that!

Also, any recommendations on must haves for the first few weeks after we are home with the baby?

Also, this my 200th post since I started this blog, I know it is not many but hey I am trying to get better and watch out I am sure one Baby Adams is here I will be having many more posts :)

Until next time!

Bumpdate- 28 weeks

Image

28 weeks: Your baby is equal in weight to a Chinese cabbage -- about 2 1/4 pounds. (Length: almost 15 inches, from head to heel.)

Maternity Clothes Maternity clothes and maxi dresses are my favorite right now, I am still able to wear most of my pre pregnancy work tops and some tank tops just because they are longer! Only a few more weeks to go!

Stretch Marks
I still do not have any, still using Palmer's every night so i am hoping to keep them away!

Movement
She is a dancing machine! I think this week, she has finally moved up a bit so she is growing and moving :)

Food cravings
Still enjoying fruit and wanting licorice this week! I guess baby girl has a sweet tooth :)

Nausea, vomiting, or sickness
None. I'm SO grateful that i have not had any sickness and was not sick during the first trimester either!

What I miss:
We went to the Iowa State Fair and I really wanted to have a corn dog, but not really missing anything!

Gender:
We are having a GIRL! :)

Best moment this week:
Getting to hear her heartbeat at our appointment. I am starting to see my OBGYN every 2 weeks now and then after my 32 week appointment every week from there on out! Crazy to think we have less than 10 weeks at the most until we get to meet this sweet girl!
No bump picture this week! Baby Adams still does not have a name, we are working on it, but I guess we never thought it would be this hard!

Until next time,

Bumpdate- 27 weeks

Image

27 weeks: Your baby is as hefty as a head of cauliflower, weighing in at almost 2 pounds. (Length: about 14 1/2 inches.)

Movement
She is still very busy! She can tell when sweet Macy lays on my belly because she then really moves to tell her sister how much she loves her and can't wait to meet her in less than 11 weeks!! :)

Food cravings
Still enjoying fruit, smoothies and ice cream! Which Joe is thrilled about, he loves it and I always say I do not want it, but now I always want it :)

Nausea, vomiting, or sickness
None. I'm SO grateful that i have not had any sickness and was not sick during the first trimester either!

What I miss:
Nothing, no complaints from me this week!

Gender:
We are having a GIRL! :)

Best moment this week:
We got the dresser and crib put together, we also got the closet cleaned out in the nursery, so I am good to go, we need to get our crib mattress and I need to wash clothes and blankets! We have also decided to not go the tradition way and buy a glider and get a recliner rocker instead, we are tall so it has been hard to find a rocker that will work, Joe is 6'4 and I am 5'10 so anyone have any suggestions?

We are really struggling to both agree on a name, so we are researching websites and books to see if we can find anything we love, if you have any name suggestions I am always up for ideas :)

And just because I love this sweet dog so MUCH! I want to show you a picture of her with all her "friends" :) Isn't she the sweetest little baby :) Love her!

Until next time,

Bumpdate- 26 weeks and hospital must haves

Image

26 weeks: Your baby is as tall as an English hothouse cucumber and weighs about 1 2/3 pounds. (Length: 14 inches, head to heel.)

Maternity Clothes I am officially wearing all maternity bottoms, most of my shirts still fit, I was never one to wear tight clothing so i have lots of tops that still fit, but I am still on the search for some comfy pants though, any suggestions?? :)

Stretch Marks
I still do not have any, still using Palmer's every night so i am hoping to keep them away!

Movement
She is still very busy! She must like to eat, because about 5 minutes after I am done eating she is really dancing in my belly :)

Food cravings
Still enjoying fruit, but is it weird that i have wanted to have cereal for dinner almost every night last week! haha

Nausea, vomiting, or sickness
None. I'm SO grateful that i have not had any sickness and was not sick during the first trimester either!

What I miss:
Nothing, no complaints from me this week!

Gender:
We are having a GIRL! The shopping has started :)

Best moment this week:
We got the dresser and crib put together, we also got the closet cleaned out in the nursery, so I am good to go, we need to get our crib mattress and I need to wash clothes and blankets!

We are really struggling to both agree on a name, so we are researching websites and books to see if we can find anything we love, if you have any name suggestions I am always up for ideas :)

*Again the apps I use are not matching up, I sure hope she is thicker than a cucumber :)*

Also, what are things you would say are must haves for when you are in the hospital for labor and after delivery? What are things that can stay at home that we should not waste space bringing? Thanks everyone in advance :)

Until next time!

Bumpdate- 25 weeks

Image

25 weeks: Your baby rivals the average rutabaga in weight -- about 1 1/2 pounds. (Length: 13 1/2 inches, head to heel.)

Maternity Clothes I am still wearing my pre pregnancy clothes, but i have a growing belly, so the maternity pants and tops are making an appearance, I would say I am pretty lucky that my pre pregnancy pants still fit below my belly! I have found some really nice pants that are long enough for me so i am thrilled to have those, still on the search for some comfy pants though, any suggestions?? :)

Stretch Marks
I still do not have any, still using Palmer's every night so i am hoping to keep them away!

Movement
She is still very busy! My mother in law was able to feel her move this past weekend! She sometimes startles my because she really gets to moving, I love every bit of feeling her move! It is amazing, but at the same time weird :)

Food cravings
Still enjoying fruit, wanting to find some good smoothies this week, hoping the college has the smoothies back since the students are slowly making their way back to campus! :)

Nausea, vomiting, or sickness
None. I'm SO grateful that i have not had any sickness and was not sick during the first trimester either!

What I miss:
Nothing, no complaints from me this week!

Gender:
We are having a GIRL! The shopping has started :)

Best moment this week:
Joe started to paint the nursery this week, I am hoping by next week we will have the crib and dresser put together!

Obviously the phone app I have and the babycenter computer app are not lining up to compare the same fruit/vegetable :)

Until next time!
