Happy Halloween_ What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Halloween! I am linking up with Jamie today for What I'm Loving Wednesday!
I'm Loving:  That today is Halloween and i looking forward to seeing all the kids dressed up and the adults! We also have quite a few pets in our neighborhood that go to!

I'm Loving:  The second book to Bared to You, Reflected by you by Sylvia Day. This series is very similar to 50 Shades, but slightly different!

I'm Loving:  That tomorrow is my Birthday, well i am not sure i should be loving it since i am going to be the BIG 3-0...... but they say your thirties are the best time of your life, so bring it on! So i am going to enjoy the last day of my 20's today....... :)

I'm Loving:  My Hello Kitty pumpkin, Hello Kitty and I share the same birthday, so i just had to carve my pumpkin as that :)
I'm loving: My sweet nieces, Emma is so cute in her Halloween costume and Lily just cracks me up in the video!

I'm Loving:  Of course my sweet fur baby Macy and my wonderful Hubby!!
Have a great Halloween and a wonderful Wednesday!

Until next time!

Macy is paying the bills! and other fun stuff!

I feel like this month has gone by so quick... not sure i am ready for October to be over my big 3- cough 0 birthday is in 2 days!!! Hard to believe!

Also, today on October 30th 17 years ago i was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes, i can't believe it has been 17 years since that day, i remember getting on the scale of the Doctors office and them telling me i weighed 64.4 pounds and measured 5'7" can you imagine how terribly skinny i looked! Here i am today, 5'9"
and not 64.4 pounds but i am healthy and happy and couldn't ask for much more!

This weekend we decided it was time to carve our pumpkins or as our niece use to call them "Poke-ins" :) I had no idea what i wanted to do, but since i was feeling childish we went with characters or symbols, so i knew instantly what i wanted to do Hello Kitty, since we share the same birthday and everything :) I thought it was perfect!! So here are our pumpkins for 2012!

Joe decided on the Batman symbol, i wanted him to do Ghost busters! But he thought it might be too hard!
I just love how Hello Kitty turned out! The neighbor kids are going to love her :)

We decided to do Scooby Doo for Macy! She loved it! :)

Our master pieces for Halloween 2012! I am very excited to hand out candy for Trick or Treaters on Wednesday night! What candy are you handing out? I have Reese's, kit kats, Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids!

While we were busy cleaning the pumpkins and carving them, Macy was busy at our house as well, as i was paying the bills and petting her while she was laying in the sun, she decided she wanted to pay the bills instead!
After paying the bills, she decided it is exhausting! So i don't think she will be paying them again anytime soon :) How can you not love this week little girl :)

Happy Tuesday everyone! I can't wait to see every one's Halloween pictures! I will post Macy in her costume tomorrow! She has not decided yet, if she is going to be a super hero, pumpkin or wear her Halloween dress, too many choices i guess :)

Also, all those that have been affected by and will be affected by Hurricane Sandy are in my thoughts and prayers!

Until next time!

Colored at the Color Run

On October 3rd my sister, myself and some friends of hers went to the Color Run in Des Moines, we had such a great time, we received an email last week saying that the Color Run in Des Moines had the highest registration and largest crowd so far. It was a bit chilly the day of the run, but such a great time. They had over 50,000 people do the run in Des Moines.

We made sure we took our time at each color so we could get some pictures and just enjoy the "Happiest 5k on the Plant"
Here i am all ready to go, we had to wait in the long line of white to get started :) My sister and I bought these cool sunglasses to wear, i am saving them for next year!

All clean and white and ready to hit the road running!
Here we are after the first color orange, how it works is after so long they have a "color station" and you get blasted with color, if you run on the outside of the road you get more color than on the inside of the road, we opted to run on the outside to get the whole experience!

Next up was blue and this is my favorite picture of my sister and I, i just love how the blue looks on the road!
After we did the blue, it was time for my favorite which was the pink color, as i was running through this color i was saying I LOVE PINK haha, so they threw a little extra on me :)
The last color was yellow, all the colors were so pretty, but i was the most excited about the end, when we threw our color packs!!
Here is us at the finale of the color run! Best part and so much fun!

Have you participated in the color run in your area? If so did you love it? We will be doing it again that is for sure! I have preserved my shirt and am hoping it stays for a long time!

After this on Saturday, my mom, sister and I participated in the Especially for you Breast Cancer Walk in our area, it was so cold that morning, just barely above freezing, so we had to break out some winter wear under our lime green shirts! It was us a 15,000 other people we were a sea of green! So neat to see everyone come together for Breast Cancer Awareness.

My sister, myself and my mom

All 3 of us again, i am not sure i am ready for chilly weather yet!

My sister and me! Isn't her headband cute?

My mom and me!

I just love spending time with these 2 special ladies! It makes me smile! I hope everyone is having a great week, sorry for the picture overload! More to come this week, hopefully i will have an update on our basement and some pictures from Joe's birthday!

Until next time,

Happy Birthday!

Today i am sending a special Happy Birthday wish to that special guy in my life, i call my husband! What a guy huh? :)

Macy is so very lucky to have a such a great daddy! She really does love you and she knows you are going to rub her little belly all day if you had time! She says you are lucky to have a such a sweet fur baby :)

We are so lucky to have a great guy in our lives! We love you!!!

I also have to wish my  best friend Emily a Happy Birthday too! Her and my hubby share the same day! Happy Birthday Emily! Hope you get to relax a little tonight after work!!
Until next time!
