Hadley 11 months

How can you be 11 months old! I know I say this every month, but the time is really flying! My itty bitty baby is now a 19 pound 31 inch long walking machine! We are so happy god gave us you, we waited 3.5 years to see a positive pregnancy sign and were told a year before that, they didn't think we would be able to conceive, so you are definitely are our miracle baby and we cherish all our moments with you and couldn't have asked for anything more perfect! We love you so  much and enjoy watching you grow, you are the light of our lives that is for sure!

Clothes: You are wearing some 9 month clothes, but mostly 12 month clothing, even though it is a bit big, It is the right length for your long legs! I have been doing some bargain shopping for you for next year, so you have quite a few things for 24 months and 18 month stuff, plus you are have 2 girl cousins so hand me downs are awesome! I have also already started shopping for the holidays, but mommy needs to get on getting things together for your upcoming birthday and 1 year photo shoot!

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy! You are growing and growing, which makes this mommy's heart sad and happy at the same time! You are just a happy and healthy little girl, that is all we could ask for.

Diet:  You are still exclusively breast fed and also you eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks, for the most part you are getting food we are eating, plus you still love puffs and your crunchies!You take a bottle about every 4 hours and you nurse when I am home about that amount of time too. You are a good eater and don't seem to be picky which is good because your mommy is still a picky eater. I think we are getting close to the end of our breastfeeding journey, mommy was hoping she could make it to 1 year, but I am not sure I can keep up! But either way, I am more than proud of how far we have come, from working 40+ hours a week and being a type 1 diabetic I am proud!

Sleep:  You have finally starting sleeping through the night again, but you every once in awhile you like to get up and nurse back to sleep which I am ok with because I know sooner rather than later that, that you won't want to do that anymore because you are growing so fast! You love to get up and jump up and down in the crib and let us know you are up! You go back down after you get up in the morning to nurse for about 90 minutes and then you take 2 naps during the day, usually a 1 hour nap and a 2 hour nap late afternoon, if i am lucky you will take a 30 minute snooze for me at night but usually you dont' go to sleep until around 10:30 or 11:00 at night!

Baby Gear:  You still love your play table, you are also walking now instead of crawling, so yo love things that you have to pick up off the floor! You also LOVE books, your stroller, Ergo carrier and your car seat! WE just transitioned you to your big girl seat and you seem to love it so far!

 

Likes:  Baths, walking, running away from mommy as I chase you, laughing, trying to catch Macy, splashing in Macy's water dish, drinking out of your sippy cup swinging at the park, sleeping, snuggle time with mommy and daddy, rocking in your rocker, your sister Macy, feeding time, your crib, pacifiers, car rides, listening to music, eating puffs and sharing them with Macy, being outside watering the plants, shopping with mommy :)  you also love stroller rides.

Dislikes:  Diaper changes, being hungry, running out of puffs on your high chair and also cold diaper wipes and you do not like to be woken up, getting out of the bath and also lately, trying to take a nap you fight it like a ninja!

 

You are getting so big, you have 5 teeth and are working on number 6, you are walking, pulling yourself up! Saying so many words, momma, dada, dog, papa and bob. You love big people food and we are so happy that you are eating good, I was worried because I am such a picky eater! You also went to the pumpkin farm for the first time and loved all the pumpkins, it was a little early to get any pumpkins, so we will be going back to get those later. You also love to wave at everyone, it is like the miss America pageant when we take you on a stroller ride or shopping, everyone waves back and says how cute you are. You are adored by all the little old ladies at church! So cute.

 

We just adore you and can't believe that next month you are going to be a year old! I am so overjoyed with happiness and sadness at the same time, this year went way too fast!

Hadley 10 months

I can't believe 10 months has come already, you are officially in double digit months! I am sitting her teary eyed as I write this, my sweet baby is growing too fast! It seems like just yesterday you were my itty bitty 8 pound squishy baby! You are will always be my sweet sweet little baby! Lots of firsts this month and I am sure many more are to come in the next few months!

 

Clothes: You are wearing 9 month clothes, 12 month is way too big still and most 9 month stuff you have plenty of room to grow still! Diet:  You are still exclusively breast fed and also getting puffs, lil crunchies, baby food and also we are also giving you stuff we are eating for the most part you seem to like everything except peas and peaches, you love toast and any fruit! right now you are really loving watermelon haha! You take a bottle about every 4 hours and you nurse when I am home about that amount of time too. You are a good eater and don't seem to be picky which is good because your mommy is still a picky eater.

You have also found a love for empty water bottles! You also love BOOKS,  I swear you would "eat" all of them if you could :) You also love any toy that sings the ABC's haha!

Likes:  Baths, crawling, trying to catch Macy, splashing in Macy's water dish, drinking out of your sippy cup swinging at the park, sleeping, snuggle time with mommy and daddy, rocking in your rocker, your sister Macy, feeding time, your crib, pacifiers, car rides, listening to music, eating puffs and sharing them with Macy, being outside watering the plants, shopping with mommy :)  you also love the pool and stroller rides.

Dislikes:  Diaper changes, being hungry, running out of puffs on your high chair and also cold diaper wipes and you do not like to be woken up, getting out of the bath and just a recently getting put into your car seat once you are in you are fine, but it is a wrestling match to get you in the seat haha!

Hadley, the last 10 months have the best months of my life, we prayed wished for you for so many years you have fulfilled every wish we had! We are so excited to watch you grow into a sweet little girl, but slow down a bit ;) You have started to take a few steps on your own and I was so happy I was home to witness your first steps on your own which was on August 28th. You also took your first girls shopping trip to Mall of America in Minneapolis on August 23rd, you also stayed in a hotel for the first time, you did a great job on the 4+ hour drive there and back, but you wanted to sleep with mommy and not in your pack in play! You were also an amazing trooper while shopping you will be quite the little shopper in a few years! We love you to the moon and beyond Hadley Marie! Happy 10 month sweet girl.

Hadley 9 months

How is it possible you are 9 months old, the last single digit month, i am seriously crying thinking about fast you are growing! I can't believe how fast the time is going!You are seriously the best gift your dad and I have ever received! You have 2 teeth and you are cutting 3 more, poor baby, you are also standing by yourself and also trying to step, walking around anything you can! We of course think everything you do is so cute and we love watching you learn!

 

Clothes: You are wearing 9 month clothes, 12 month is way to big and most 9 month stuff you have plenty of room to grow still! I have had to get out some bigger pants for you because we have been having unseasonably cool weather and I was not prepared to have you wearing pants in July!

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy! You are growing and growing, which makes this mommy's heart sad and happy at the same time!

Diet:  You are still exclusively breast fed and also getting puffs, lil crunchies, baby food and also we are just starting to introduce other foods, so far you seem to like most things, you do not like peaches! haha! You take a bottle about every 4 hours and you nurse when I am home about that amount of time too, you have been getting up in the night to nurse and snuggle because  think your teeth have been bothering you, I dont' mind it because I love snuggling with you, but I am sleepy! I love that you will try anything!

Sleep:  You have finally starting sleeping through the night again, but you every once in awhile you like to get up and nurse back to sleep which I am ok with because I know sooner rather than later that, that you won't want to do that anymore because you are growing so fast! You love to get up and jump up and down in the crib and let us know you are up!

Baby Gear:  You are moving and crawling, pulling yourself up so you love your play table, you still love to be worn in your Ergo carrier, you love your Minnie doll, Sophie, your blocks and your favorite your baby Einstein toy. Hadley - 8 months

How is it possible you are 3/4 of a year old! I can't believe how fast the time is going! On your 8 month birthday, you crawled for the first time and clapped for the first time! I was SO happy I was hope to witness you doing these milestones! You are seriously the best gift your dad and I have ever received! You have 2 teeth and they are the cutest little teeth ever!

 

Clothes: You are wearing 9 month clothes, but you have a few 6 month items that still fit you! You are tall and skinny, you must get that from your daddy ;)

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy! You are growing and growing, which makes this mommy's heart sad and happy at the same time!

Diet:   You eat around every 4 hours during the day and you have been going around 6-7 hours in the night, you are strictly eating breast milk and during the day you get 2 ounces of a fruit or veggie, at night you still nurse and get the opposite of what you didn't get at lunch time. You also get puffs and yogurt melts! You love both of them and could eat an entire bottle I think haha! You are also getting the hang of your sippy cup which I love!

Sleep:  You have finally starting sleeping through the night again, but you every once in awhile you like to get up and nurse back to sleep which I am ok with because I know sooner rather than later that, that you won't want to do that anymore because you are growing so fast! You have also started to sleep on your belly, we put you to bed on your back and you instantly roll over to your belly, you like to sleep like your mommy!

Baby Gear:  You are moving and crawling, pulling yourself up so you love your play table, you still love to be worn in your Ergo carrier, you love your Minnie doll, Sophie, your blocks and your favorite your baby Einstein toy. You have also found a love for empty water bottles! You also love BOOKS,  I swear you would "eat" all of them if you could :) You also love any toy that sings the ABC's haha!

Hadley 7 months old

I know I say this every single month, but seriously the time really does fly by when you are having the time of your life being a mommy to the sweetest baby around! We waited for over 3.5 years to be parents and when we saw those 2 lines we knew we were in the for the biggest joy of our lives and boy has it been! But seriously Hadley, slow down :)

 

 

Clothes: You are still wearing a lot of 6 month stuff and getting into your 9 month stuff, I sure hope your 9 month stuff fits, because most of all your summer stuff is 9 months! You are tall and skinny, you must get that from your daddy ;)

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy, you had your 6 month check up in the middle of May and you weighed 16 pounds and were 27 inches long, the Dr said you are very healthy and VERY active! You are sitting up, trying to crawl, you are also scooting on your back on the floor and rolling, rolling and more rolling to get where you want to be! I just love watching you explore and get to where you need to be it really is the cutest thing in the world!

Diet:   You eat around every 4 hours during the day and you have been going around 6-7 hours in the night, you are strictly eating breast milk during the day and then at night you get oatmeal and some sort of veggie or fruit, so far you seem to like everything except peas, we still try them, but you seem to make bad faces, I don't blame you because mommy doesn't like them either :) The Dr, said we could start giving you "table" food at 9 months, so we are looking forward to that, you really want to eat anything, you open your mouth at anything and when we are holding you and eating a snack or eating you open your mouth like a little birdie and I swear it makes me laugh every time! I just love it! You still do not have any teeth yet, but you are chewing on anything and everything, so I guess it is just a matter of time before my toothless baby because a little baby with lots of little white teeth!

Sleep:  You have finally starting sleeping through the night again, but you every once in awhile you like to get up and nurse back to sleep which I am ok with because I know sooner rather than later that, that you won't want to do that anymore because you are growing so fast! You have also started to sleep on your side, we put you to bed on your back and when we go in there you are fast asleep on your side, it really is the cutest thing to see a sweet little baby sleeping on her side :)

Baby Gear:  You love to be sitting up now and playing with your toys, you still love the rattles, you also love fisher price keys that sing, your new Minnie doll, your v-tech move and crawl, your first dolly, Sophia the giraffe and I say your favorite toy is your paci haha! You still love being in your Ergo, your stroller you have also really started taking a liking to your blocks, and chewing on your books!

Likes:  Baths, sitting up, rolling all over the floor, drinking out of your sippy cup swinging at the park, sleeping, snuggle time with mommy and daddy, rocking in your rocker, your sister Macy, feeding time, your crib, pacifiers, car rides, listening to music, being outside watering the plants, shopping with mommy :)  you also love the pool and stroller rides.

Happy 7 months Hadley Marie! We love you so much! We love watching you become the sweetest little girl, we are also enjoying all the kisses, hugs and slobbery toys you give us! You have lots of firsts this month trying all the new baby foods, stroller rides and you also went with mommy for a pedicure, can't wait until you can get your own little piggies painted :) You also had your skin tag removed on May 21st and I think mommy was more worked up then you were, you are such a brave little baby!

Hadley 6 months old

I know I say this every month, but how is it possible you are already 6 months old! The time is going so fast! You are still the best thing that has ever happened to Mommy and Daddy! We love you with all our hearts, you are so happy, sweet, smiley, cute, very observant and curious! Happy 1/2 birthday baby girl, you are just getting to be so big and getting more mobile and interested in so many things! We have been getting outside and trying new things all the time now that the weather is nice!!

Clothes: You are wearing mostly 6 months clothes.  The 9 month stuff is still too big, but some of it fits your long legs! You do have a couple 3-6 month onesies that still fit you, we will wear them until you can't button them anymore, almost all your pajamas are 6-9 months, but my guess is, you won't want to wear pajamas much this summer haha!

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy, you had a Dr appointment for a possible ear infection and they said you were exactly 16 pounds, so you have doubled your birth weight which is what they want for a 6 month old!

Diet:   You eat around every 4 hours during the day and you have been going around 6-7 hours in the night, you are strictly eating breast milk during the day and then at night you get oatmeal and we are starting to introduce some puree's you have tried peas, which you ate, but you didn't seem to like them very much! You have also tried carrots and seems to like them the most so far, we will be trying squash and sweet potatoes very soon!

Sleep:  You are sleeping mostly through the night, you take a few power naps during the day and then maybe a 2 hour nap late afternoon early evening. It seems you are sleeping every night when I get home from work! But you do love your sleep which is a good thing!

Baby Gear:  You love to be sitting up now and playing with your toys, you still love the rattles, you also love fisher price keys that sing, your new Minnie doll, your v-tech move and crawl, your first dolly, Sophia the giraffe and I say your favorite toy is your paci haha! You also love your bumbo, ergo carrier, soft blocks and anything that plays music!

Likes:  Baths, laying on your back looking in the mirror, tummy time you have really started to love this, now that you know what to do, swinging, sleeping, snuggle time with mommy and daddy, rocking in your rocker, your sister Macy, feeding time, your crib, pacifiers and also car rides, you also started swimming lessons and you LOVE those!

Dislikes:  Diaper changes, being hungry and also cold diaper wipes, you have now started to not like to get burped!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy 6 months Hadley Marie! We can't believe we celebrated your 1/2 birthday this month! You seriously bring us more joy then we can ever imagine! We love you to the moon and back! We love watching you become the sweetest little girl, you have had lots of firsts this past month and I am looking forward to spending my first Mother's Day as your mommy this weekend! Hadley - 5 months old

I know I say this every month, but how is it possible you are already 5 months old! The time is going so fast! You are still the best thing that has ever happened to Mommy and Daddy! We love you with all our hearts, you are so happy, sweet, smiley, cute, very observant and curious! We cant wait to watch you explore more and learn as you grow! You are growing so fast, slow down my sweet baby girl!

Clothes: You are wearing mostly 6 months clothes.  I can't believe all the sweet little clothes we have in totes that you will never wear again! I never thought I would be such  a sap about everything, but I cry every time I wash something and know you will never wear it again.

Health: You are a great eater and very healthy, I weighed you and then me earlier this week and it said you weighed 16 pounds. We have not started oatmeal cereal yet, but we are hoping to do that soon, we might also start some veggies later this month, since you are almost 6 months old! You are a healthy and happy baby girl, which is all we ask for!

Diet:   You eat around every 4 hours during the day and you have been going around 6-7 hours in the night, you are strictly eating breast milk at this point, but mommy is pumping at work to give you the milk you need during the day, you take 2 4 ounce bottles while I am at work, then you nurse around 3 other times at night! We had eliminated your night time nursing session, but it seems like it has been back for awhile! I am ok with that, because before I know it you will no longer be nursing and that will make this mommy so sad, I just love our time together!

Sleep:  You are sleeping mostly through the night, you take a few power naps during the day and then maybe a 2 hour nap late afternoon early evening. It seems you are sleeping every night when I get home from work! But you do love your sleep which is a good thing! Hopefully you continue that, this past weekend, you slept through the night 9 hours and then you took a 2.5 hour nap after you nursed that morning! Growth spurt I would say :)

Baby Gear:  You love your play mat, swing, bumbo, all your rattles and the mirror still, you are now loving your Ergo carrier, the exer saucer is becoming a favorite because you are now big enough to sit in it! You love to be busy and you also like to have us hold you and look into the bathroom mirror, you are also loving all the chew toys you have! I also think we have a favorite blanket and a lovey all picked out already! Anxious to see if those things stick or not :)

We took you out of your newborn sling in your bathtub and you love all the extra space so you can kick around and splash with mommy :) You were also baptized this month on March 2nd it was  a great day! You were awesome during church, you slept and smiled when needed :)

Hadley you are seriously the best gift we have ever gotten we love you more and more each day which is hard to believe our hearts are already exploding with love for you! You make us smile and our hearts melt for every smile and giggle you give us!

Happy 5 months Hadley Marie! We love you to the moon and back, I say that being your mommy is the best job I have ever had and it is so true! I wish I was with you everyday all day! Can't wait to see what this month has in store for us!
