She is here!!

Lillian (lily) Jane Abernathy is here!!! SHe was born Monday November 23rd at 5:11 p.m. 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19.5 inches long she is BEAUTIFUL i love her so much already and i can't wait to see her again in a few weeks!! Mom and Dad are doing well!~

All moved in

Joe and i are finally all moved into the house, i say moved in because it is going to take awhile for us to get everything organized i never realized how much stuff we have.... We are adjusting to living there and Macy is doing well, she has her moments when she is scared but we are loving her up so i am sure she is fine :) She misses Gizmo so we have to schedule some play dates for them to get together and play!! I will post some pictures soon of the things we have done at the house. We are hoping to tackle the basement this spring or after the first of the year!!

Happy Anniversay Hubby!!

Yesterday Joe and I celebrated our second anniversary it is hard to believe we have been married 2 years already :) The weather is not the same as it was the day we got married, we had a beautiful day!! 74 degrees light breeze, partly cloudy and NO CHANGING of leaves already. It is crazy to think the leaves look like October already!

We didn't do too much i had the day off of work and we did a few things for the house, we are still deciding on carpet and paint who would have thought those decisions would be so hard?

We have a couple busy weekends coming up so i will be posting more about those and adding pictures from those events!! Hope everyone is doing great!! Love you Joe!! <3

New Home

Well it is official Joe and I bought a house!!! We are very excited we get to close on the house on October 12th. What a busy time for us, it will be our Anniversary, Joe's birthday and then my birthday!!! It is crazy. We are looking forward to having a housewarming party, but not until we get settled in :) Looking forward to decorating and painting the house to make it home :) I have loaded a picture of the house as it is now :) Stay posted for before and after pictures of the changes we to the inside and outside :)

Holiday weekend

Iknow it has been awhile since i have written anything, but i am not very good at keeping up with this blog thing :) A lot has happened since my last post, the year has been good but also very heartbreaking at the same time, in March we lost a classmate and a dear friend of mine, Burns was a one of kind person he could make you smile even if you were sad, it was a very hard time for many of us, i still think about daily and know he is watching over all of us and keeping us safe. We all miss him dearly...

Joe and i finally decided to get a dog, i know many of you who have known me for a long time can't believe i have a dog, but when you get married we might fold HAHA, we got a Sable and White Chihuhua her name is Macy and she is a hefty 3 pounds, she is the second love of my life and i don't know what i do without her, she is spoiled rotten and has her dad wrapped around her finger!! :) Isn't she cute?


Next in April we got the WONDERFUL news that we are going to have an addition to our family my brother and sister in law are expecting thier first BABY!!!! Its a girl!! So i am sure she is already spoiled and i will keep you updated on her name and when she makes her way into this world!! The due date as today is December 4, 2009. I am thrilled to watch her grow and spoil her!!


My job is going great, we are busy and getting ready to move our offices soon, we are looking forward to having more space as we are out growing what we have now!!!




On July 3rd my sister in law Joe's sister got married at the Pipac Centre in Cedar Falls it was a beautiful wedding and the rain held out for them, as they got married on the terrace, it just sprinkled a little bit. We met for breakfast in the morning before we got our hair done at the Village Inn in Cedar Falls, Mary Jo (my mother in law) was very nervous about the rain so she keep a St. Joseph figurine close my her side at all times!! :) ( i wish i had a picture but i don't)















My friends are all having beautiful babies Emily and her husband Scott had a baby boy Jackson Ryan Mclaughlin on Feburary 7th.


















My other friend Sarah and her husband Geoff had a beautiful baby girl on May 1st Mary Ann Augusta Seifert.




























And the last of my friends had another beautiful baby girl on June 13th Mia Rose McMaster, Jessica and Scott are thrilled she is home.







Well i should be going i will post more as we get more pictures of the wedding and our summer days!!!

New Job

Well Monday October 27th, i will be starting my new job as the program manager for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!! I am very excited to start this chapter in my life. It is something i am going to really enjoy i am going to be very busy but i might also get to do a bit of traveling with the job so i am looking forward to that.

This weekend i am looking forward to seeing my friends, their baby and the other one's growing belly!! :) My other friend Sarah from Colorado just shared great news with me as well she and her husband are expecting their first child in April so i am also very excited for them!!!

Other than that things are keeping busy here and we are looking forward to Halloween and then Thanksgiving and my FAVORITE Christmas, it is hard to believe it is already that time of the year!!

1st Anniversary!!!

On Monday Joe and i celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary!!! It was so nice that he had the day off, not that we did much, we just enjoyed doing some of things we like to do together, we went and looked at getting him new golf clubs, went to dinner, went to a movie and then we came home and cut and ate the top layer of our wedding cake, believe me i was hesitant to try it but i couldn't believe how GOOD it was :) We also got out our champagne flutes we used and had a toast to a wonderful 100 years of marriage! :)

It is hard to believe how fast the time has gone by, we are excited to see what the next year has in store for us.

We are looking to take a vacation in January, but are still not sure of where to go, at that point in the year anything warm with a beach will be looking great!!!
